In my experience Nine Dragons can get you in an out of there pretty quick. We've also shown up early for our ADR's there & usually were seated within a couple minutes...albeit not with a group of 10. You should be fine.

Sad to hear your experience at Homecoming! We planned to try it in October. Although living in Wisconsin, we're just about as far away from southern food as we can be, so maybe we won't notice...?;)

I honestly think Chef Mickey's is the most overrated restaurant in Disney. I'd go to 'Ohana over that any day. I don't have experience with the others you mentioned. Although we enjoyed Tusker House in AK most of all.

I wouldn't disagree with changing it, however I'd be opposed to making it scarier. We have to drag my son onto it every time even though we've referred to it as the "Silly Spooks". He always done fine once he's on it, but then remembers it to be scarier than it really is. So no...please don't...

We were on Splash Mountain a few years back & Rabbit was hopping along with his head upside-down. I felt bad for the kids that had to witness that.
