News Disney Villains After Hours coming to the Magic Kingdom

Wow. P.T. Barnum was right. We have enjoyed the Halloween nights and Christmas Parties, but there's not much here...

News Disney Villains After Hours coming to the Magic Kingdom

So, apart from the Castle stage show, what else is different than any random EMH night?

I'm appalled! No hue and cry about a price being increased?

THE MOST ANNOYING PART of these Disney boards is the way posters get in these "I'm the bigger Disney fan" cat fights.

I'm appalled! No hue and cry about a price being increased?

*Whatever price* The Mouse can get away with for VIP Tours is fine with me. This is a high-end service for wealthy people. Charge 'em $10,000 an hour if they're sucker enough to pay for it.

Ticket price increase / FP+ changes coming?

Also, it's funny that they cite "millennials" in the article about not liking to plan their vacation ahead; NOBODY likes doing that - including this GenXer.

Ticket price increase / FP+ changes coming?

I do not understand all the angst over FP+. Yes, it sucks a little that I have to make reservations 3 months ahead of time for something as silly as a ride - but the rest of FP+ is awesome. I'm the member of my party that is the designated "FastPass Getter." I'm glad that I don't have to run...

    Surprising kids with a trip

We stayed at the Contemporary for a week during Spring Break a few years ago. We didn't tell the kids about it until we rolled up to the building. :) We had told them that we were "going to a Braves game." We were leaving from Macon, and they assumed we were going to Atlanta. Sitting there at...

    Skippers canteen or BOG?

Skippers, Skippers and Skippers. It's a restaurant. BOG is like a cattle call.

    Wilderness Lodge vs. Boardwalk

The two resorts are very different. They're both awesome, but different. I'd pick Boardwalk for its proximity to the World Showcase - but that's me...

News Disney Characters Say Tourists Inappropriately Touched Them

There are crazy people everywhere. Y'all know that, right?

News The Effect of “Frozen 2” in the Parks (SPOILER HEAVY)

It was so formulaic; now the people of Arendelle are colonialists? ...and of course, they're exploiting the peaceful forest folk... and of course, their ancestor was an evil power-hungry man... But the biggest eye-roll was when Elsa conjured up an ICE HORSE! Think of how many ice...

News The Effect of “Frozen 2” in the Parks (SPOILER HEAVY)

You're right that I don't really want a discussion about this film. I was just using your comment as a jumping off point. Why am I still here? Probably because you keep being rude. That little red flag pops up and we just have to say something! :)

News The Effect of “Frozen 2” in the Parks (SPOILER HEAVY)

And I don't care what YOU care about. I don't even know what the original post was. Was that you? I have no idea. I was simply commenting on the mediocrity of the film being discussed in the thread, and using another current film as an example. In the third sentence I did get into the weeds...

News The Effect of “Frozen 2” in the Parks (SPOILER HEAVY)

I saw "Frozen 2" and "Knives Out" on the same day, with dinner in between. Knives Out is a whole lot better. Seriously. F2 is pretty crappy, really. It's like the first one, without the great music (because it was a mediocre movie too). "Tangled" was better than both of 'em... but this is...
