Why should we stay on property?

I've spent most of my 100 plus visits on site. When there was dining plan and other reasons for my staying on property it made sense. However, I'd have to agree with the previous comments. Currently it isn't worth the extra money for a free bus or cable car ride. I'd also consider not going...

Strongly Considering a Trip to WDW: Please Help me plan or talk me out of it

I also believe there's a public misconception that Disney is hurting right now. Look at shareholder info on how the Disney plus sales are going. Disney will be fine. It's the employees that are paying for the closures currently

Strongly Considering a Trip to WDW: Please Help me plan or talk me out of it

I'd wait. I'm a devout Disney lifer. Opened every park. Although I was in a diaper in 71'. They just havnt offered pricing appropriate to what's open and what's shut down. No Dining plan, no Happily Ever After, no shows.. I'd save a little longer. And "if" we get back to some form of normal...

Should Disneyland create a ‘Disney Bubble’? - OCR/SCNG

Disney should've left California years ago. What's going on currently is no longer about safety. Disney World (Disney corps poster child) is doing it safely and albeit some of the aspects suck real bad,( queue closures, fireworks not happening, no live performances) the public still has the...

    Post Covid Photopass ideas

I'd make a mask if you are creative matching the park you're in. Lion for AK, Kylo Ren or Buzz for Hollywood, etc. I always wear Disney merch according to park I'm in. This is another opportunity to theme or bound. Imo

Should I cancel since there's no FP+, fireworks, limited dining, etc.? When will it return?

As much as I adore Disney. I'm going to take my people elsewhere (Ireland/Scotland), Yellowstone, etc. Disney is still asking too much for too little. I'm not a Universal guy, born and raised on WDW, but at least this time Universal got it right. Deals in proportion to available activities...

When are all these cutbacks not about COVID anymore?

71' in a stroller and a diaper. First rope drop, my parents took me to a place that would literally shape the way I saw entertainment and vacation forever. As Disneyphiles we have the bar set so high that other theme parks cannot near compare. But at 50 years of age even doing well financially...

When are all these cutbacks not about COVID anymore?

I'm not paying 3k to do 50% of anything. Agreed

When are all these cutbacks not about COVID anymore?

Well, honestly, it's been doing this gradually since Walt and Roy were no longer involved. If you've priced a 2021 trip recently with no dining plans available and none of the favorites being shown. It becomes clear not only does Disney not care about the opinion of the regular park attendees...

Refunds or cancellations of Disney World Annual Passes

This is assuming Disney cares about us in a way other than representing a dollar. I have spent my entire life since first rope drop on Disney property.. But let's not kid ourselves. Disney is about Disney, not its followers.

    DisneySea at Walt Disney World?!?

I for one would not. Let the over seas parks have their unique themes . Zootopia soon, etc. Just like I wouldn't want an E.P.C.O.T. overseas. It's part of the appeal of visiting foreign parks IMO. 5th park should be a fresh new idea. And since WDW is needing another park just for the crowd...

    Pro/Con Disney Vacation Editorial

I will say. Disney is and always has been over priced. But as a career Disney attendee, covered in obscure Disney art, I see myself as part of the problem. Not the solution. No one likes standing in lines. But imagine for a moment, a Disney that was easily affordable. The capacity would be...

    Empty Attraction Experiences

I was on property six days after 9-11. Every ride was empty. This further emphasized the atrocities of that time. But a great Disney experience none the less.
