I'm wondering if the WiFi speed there would give you a decent picture.

I have stayed at OKW twice. I really like it there. The only drawback is that the food places are at Hospitality House. If you have a refillable mug, you need to be close to HH to take advantage of it. You might be able to use at Turtle Shack, not sure though.

I would stay at the GF. It is a much more more romantic atmosphere. It is also much quieter. We stayed at the GF last year. Although we did not stay at the CR, we did eat there. I thought that is was busier and noisier. It also seemed like there were a lot more people getting on and off...

I did get the waterparks option for my upcoming trip. I booked the 4/7 special. I upgraded my park ticket to a 10 day, Park Hopper, Waterparks and more with No Expiration. I paid the price of a 7 day ticket with the same features. Since they don't expire, I figured it was worth it.

If you don't have the DDP, I would do lunch for my sit down meal. It would be cheaper and the kids wouldn't be as tired. Buffets are good for little ones since you don't have to wait for your food.

In the grand scheme, the price of gas is not that big of the portion of the trip. I live about 1,000 miles from WDW. My Odyssey gets about 25 MPG on the road. That would take 40 gallons of gas to get there. That is only $160 for gas. Even if gas was $2 a gallon, it is only $80 more each...
