100% agree is was the fault of the parents. And I am glad to hear they moved the plates to the line. I am willing to give it another chance then, especially since my kids and husband like it so much.

Sorry for the digression, but I just had to share this. Once at Golden Corral, I witnessed a kid grabbing plates from the stack of "clean" plates, licking them, and then putting them back in the stack. I have not been back there since.

It all depends on the hotel and the paticular rate details. For S&D the GOV rate is for leisure travel only. Sometimes a military or GOV rate requires you to be on military orders or on official government travel but it will specify that in the rate rules or term and conditions.
