They won't have to buy too many props, considering the Walt Disney Company owns some of the best movie franchises out there now that people want to see props from.
I wouldn't say too long of an outside queue, but they need the queue line to be as long as possible to prevent back flow onto the main pedestrian walk. They have a limited space to do so, considering the entirety of 7DMT is surrounded by existing infrastructure, not to mention they can only fit...
The visibility that daylight offers will always trump unnatural lighting, but it will make for an entirely new experience nonetheless. That, in itself, is exciting.

Very true. But you'd figure that, after the installation of LMA, BLT would be compensated with some fanciful additions regardless of the fact it wasn't a working studio anymore, especially since they planned on keeping it around. Alas, it got left in the dust. Haha.
Do you think that the $25 a piece is just an introductory price? It could be that they know to milk it for what it's worth being a new concept and experience. Maybe it will decrease as time goes on?
It really does. BLT, along with the LMA practice lot, takes up roughly 500k sq. feet and the majority of that is just concrete road. There is so much potential there to make it a true "backlot" experience if TDO thinks it's worth the investment.
I totally agree. The excitement of Disney introduces an entire new level of insomnia it seems. Late to bed and up early. I'm sure everyone can agree with that. :)
