Hollow or not the Disney plane will garner more attention and be of more value than the NBA experience.

A Wreck it Ralph Game Central Station Barcade would get more attention than an empty plane and a Nobody's Around Experience..

And yes almost anything would be more popular... It was a tone deaf or money grab decision...
The best thing they could have done was move the ESPN ZOne restaurant to that location and develop something fun period and theme-appropriate for the Boardwalk Resort 1940s Boardwalk Diner...the after hours catch-all for the Food and Wine revelers...
It would be a popular, needed restaurant....something...anything that has a good general menu and is open late night!

I like this idea.
I never went to DisneyQuest but it looked pretty cheesy from the old youtube videos I saw. Basically the most 90's thing ever only Disney was about 10 years too late on it.
Iger was buddies with the NBA commissioner.

I hear they're replacing it with the cupcake hall of fame. You'll be able to get your pick of the leftovers from the various parties like BooBash. Of course, the left-overs from last year's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will cost extra; they're collector's items!
