How many tabs were there? $7 x number of tabs...wonder if that will be close to the price for this new event.

No, because the user also had paid an admission fee or used their AP.

The new one should be higher, especially with capacity limits.

Knott's current price equals $7.50 per item.

My thought is they probably didn't plan on giving any refunds but too many people requested it while getting their AP refunds so they gave in.

Actually, Disney was hoping to honor them this year as an AP add-on, like it started last year. Everybody already had paid to get into the park, and this was for the special food. Very easy to say that 2020 passes were valid in 2021.

Disney lawyers knew someone would sue, so they had to give refunds.

This new event will be more expensive, as all costs have to be covered. Plus, the state mandates passes be sold online and limited to the "25% capacity" number. Actually, a very good plan. For example, went to SeaWorld last Saturday, and even though I had a membership, had to make an advance registration online to be "counted".

Knott's does the same thing. The Ticket booths are closed, all tasting cards, aka entry tickets, are purchased online. Knott's will allow unused "tastes" to be used on a second visit, BUT only as extras, as you have to buy a new Card to enter the second time. Anyone with extra Holiday "Tastes" can use them for the Boysenberry event as "extra" tastes.

I assumed Disney will be higher...just a matter of how much higher.
