Capex: going strong for media.

At a lower level (same as last year, which was reduced) for parks.

Q: Morgan Stanley: to Bob...How will parks go? Increase capacity? What have you been doing?
Christine: What about sports rights?

Bob: Rate of vaccination will lead any changes. We see ample demand.

Cost savings and break even: we've been engineering ways to stuff more people in. And managed cost. Net positive contribution still the goal. Demand has been and will be exceeding supply.

Christine: Cancellations and delays makes things super cray cray. But sports rights cost will go up on linear and ESPN+ from new venues.

Q: Michael Nathanson: Whats the stats on Soul and Mulan? Hotstar churn?

A: Bob.. Soul -- huge hit, helped retention.

Mulan was successful since we're doing the same with Raya? (??) But no deets how it did financially. It helps with flexibility.

Q: Black Widow???

A: Bob.. we're staying flexible. We intend to be theatrical but, who knows? Flexible!!

A: Christine: Hotstar cricket... Hotstar has a lot of local content. Year subs were a bit of a loss leader.

Interesting language their that at least confirms they are open to the idea. I'm guessing their waiting for Raya and the last Dragon numbers to come in next month.

Q: JPMorgan: D+... are you gonna to local content there too?
How has churn on D+ been?

A: Bob... local content in a market is sometimes required by local government, and some we do for local interest. We're doing a lot of bundling in Asia.

Christine... churn... D+'s churn is financially good for us, and we expect it to go down. Good conversion from promotional to paid subs. A price increase is coming, we think it's worth it, and we think customers will thinks so too.
