100%... but that is part of the issue with RoTR boarding groups. There isn't a huge tradeoff to riding RoTR. The only thing you loose out on is a little sleep (6:55am wake up) and about an hourish of park time. That is worth it for many people.

If they opened up standby and the line got to 2.5,3 or even 4 hours, many people would choose to not enter the line.
I think thatā€™s obvious. Are you saying one or the other is better or more fair?

Iā€™ll admit that I havenā€™t been following the thread since the new boarding group process started. Is it best to be on WiFi or data?
Iā€™ve seen suggestions on other sites that data is better if you have a good connection. Also saw somewhere that it might help to turn off location access. Even though you donā€™t have to be anywhere specific to reserve, they suggested the app still takes time to check.

Even my lucky streak couldnā€™t do enough to save this attraction from itself today.

What a semi-debacle šŸ™„
Did they let @disneygeek90 back into the park or something? šŸ˜„

SUCCESS, mission completed, basically everything worked except a few minor things that we always talk about: no alarm in 2nd room, no laser fire from the arm gun on ATT side view and 2nd & 3rd cannons not moving .

Other news and notes, they were only loading 1 vehicle per room so it was weird going out with no one else (1st time ever happened for us). Also, we had back row behind the plastic and it wasnā€™t an issue at all. The plastic and where they place you in the first 2 preshows are a bigger potential hassle as it could limit your viewing angles. But no glare or reflections and unless you are an absolute stickler, itā€™s completely acceptable in a pandemic šŸ˜·

And being a single vehicle (not in a pair) its funny when Kylo looks to an empty space at the end šŸ¤©šŸ˜‚šŸ¤©

Otherwise it was nice to hold the useless distinction of being the 1st people to ride Rise on its 1st birthday. That and 50 cents gets me maybe half a cup of ā˜•ļø šŸ˜œšŸ˜œšŸ˜œ
