WDW shows & parades

Hi all, I have finally got round to thinking about shows and parades for when we visit in October.

Is there anything we should not miss, perhaps any tips on where we can view parades/shows from away from the crowds?

Any advice would be welcome, thanks.

If you are thinking about firework shows, don't forget at Hollywood Studios you might need two nights if you want to see both the Star Wars fireworks and Fantasmic.

We usually end up at MK for a few nights. We park hop alot, so one night we usually catch fireworks, others we use that to ride attractions. Same with parades. Since MSEP is gone we don't bother unless it's Boo To you at the Halloween party

Parades are pretty easy since outside of the holiday parties there is only one main parade left, Festival of Fantasy in MK and the small Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party in MK.

As for shows, my personal favorite is Festival of the Lion King in AK.
I'll second that Festival of the Lion King in AK. That's a lot of fun to watch. Between the costumes and set pieces to acrobatics and some audience interaction, definitely a favorite.
