According to the news. Yokohama Government publicly announced its bid to have a Disney cruise Line in the near future, and According to Disney Respresentative, One of the Conditions is that as long as Yokohama Port Doesn’t build a Resort Casino, Disney might look into the Bid of a Disney Cruise line in yokohama port and and will travel across Asia.

I wouldn't mind taking a Disney Cruise Line boat across the Pacific instead of flying on a future trip to Tokyo Disney. :)

I'm kind of disappointed they built Soarin there. I find the ride to be a bit lame and even the show building is amazing I'm surprised TDR asked for that Clone. The only upside I see is maybe itll be a crowd sucker the same way Toy Story Mania is and open up the other stuff for visitors with shorter lines.

When I went we just darted to ToT and Journey while the masses all went to Toy Story.

The plans to add Soarin' have existed ever since TDS first opened. I believe it was supposed to open with the park or shortly after but was delayed for various reasons. If its reception at Shanghai Disneyland is any indication, I'm sure Soarin' will be a massive hit at TDS and possibly dethrone Toy Story Mania as the most popular ride at the resort. OLC's current mandate is to prioritize adding unique attractions to TDR, but Soarin' is one of those clones that Japanese fans have wanted for a long time.

The nighttime show looks fun, but I personally liked seeing the castle without a stage in front of it earlier this year.
Well it depends on a people’s perspective, I for one have always been a fan of Tokyo Disneyland Castle stage shows because of the scale and technology that they’re using, and it’s wide variety of shows, concepts, Castle stage shows has more substance and storyline rather than the Usual seasonal parade, The only thing that sucks is at its capacity.
Unlike counter Disney parks, Tokyo Disneyland castle stage shows has been innovating from time to time, Well until 2013, When they needed a castle projection show to accommodate the needs of a nighttime show all year round.

It seems some people are not happy with the generic looking Fastpass reminder tickets that are printed out now. Is there any chance they add the attraction logo back on them in the future? The ones at Disneyland Resort are still useful for collecting because they look the same as before.

I don't think it will return anytime soon, I know its a lot to take for us here in Japan especially when we're used to having the papered special designed FastPass, But its the first step towards a seamless transition from the old system to a new system and its all not that bad.
One more thing is that when you're going to buy limited merch at the resort, you need to have your Disney passport at some shops due to limited stocks. and hotel voucher special FastPass still has the same design, not the one that you see now.

Update regarding the new Fastpass design, The attraction design for the FastPass has been moved to the TDR app system making it the paper pass having the basic design while the App have the Attraction based design. and Soaring hasn't been added on the digital Fastpass.

Are there any plans to have the TDR app available for English-speaking users? It would be a great help, especially with the digital Fastpass not being an extra charge like at DLR.
