It’s not being installed all that fast. Steel coasters are a kit of parts and they routinely go up in a matter of months.

Yeah, it's not fast in regards to coaster construction.
People have been staring at a mound of dirt with a bunch of holes in it for months now (me included, on the edge of my seat for construction) and seeing recognizable shapes fly over the horizon at a much more visible construction pace is very, very satisfying.

Sure there are effects in the show building but we're still 2 years away from an opening. They really know how to drag out coaster construction.

They definitely do, although the last year has overlapped with a lot of the facility design. It just seems like every project easy, visible work gets people all excited by the fast pace when it’s nothing special.

They do this part quickly, especially with the awful heat and rain of Orlando. The quicker the show building goes up, the more pristine the steel.

I am loving seeing a coaster go up in WDW. Even if it's a short coaster, it's a relatively rare sight.
