I always liked that area of the park. Very futuristic or very retro like an early 80's mall.

Yes. It is impressive in a sort of dated way! I had never been back in there until they routed the Space mountain line up that way.

It was a lot more exciting when it was the Space Place restaurant with the ramp to see the Space Theater where EO sits now and the People Mover going through. I remember watching Magic Journeys outside at night. Freaky clowns.
