doesn't the ceiling have some type of star lighting/projection effect? If that turns out to look great, I wouldn't mind the toned-down decor.

If the food is good, I'm less concerned how it looks on the inside. I find Guy Fieri annoying but I'm willing to give this a shot.

According to the Orlando business journal this is said to open Jan. 27th however that could still be pushed back.

They're getting there. they still have several strands that are not lit but that's not surprising. Apparently there's a private event happening tonight inside. I suspect it's more of a test and tune than anything else.

I hate to say it, but I almost preferred it before. I don't get the impression many people go to Planet Hollywood for the food, so you think they'd jazz up the interiors a bit.

Hopefully it's either a bad angle or really unfinished...?

I think the photo does match the concept art for that floor and that angle. I expect there will be more interesting parts. For me it was the memorabilia that made it interesting, not the tiger stripe walls.

Good lord... The food looks, quite frankly, horrible... The salmon and steak look boring and bland as possible. And the burger and desserts look like the end result of someone asking a 6 year old to throw things together to "make food". It's like their end goal was "indigestion".

I'm down with those crazy shakes, and some of their drinks look pretty good. That's why we are booked in April. We are eating dinner at The Boathouse and then headed over to PH for dessert & drinks.

The menu looks amazing and prices are great. Its only a matter of time before half the good stuff disappears and prices increase by 10%.
