June Grad nights vs November Half-Marathon crowds

We went to DLR in June while grad nights were going on (and the last week of some AP not being blacked out) and we had a great trip, felt like wait times were average but certainly not crazy, and didn't think the crowds were overly bad (reading lots of posts on message boards on how to tour the parks really helped!) We're looking to go back in November 2016, but as we're going to celebrate 2 birthdays it would fall during the likely Avengers Half-Marathon if it sticks to the same weekend as 2015.

So, what should we expect out of half-marathon crowds versus a June Grad Days/last AP visit days crowd levels? Do most of those people just stay Thur-Sun/Mon? We were looking at staying Fri-Fri so a few days would overlap but then we'd have a few days after that without those crowds.

Does anyone have any insight on marathon weekend crowd levels and what we might expect from a time like that? And yes, I know that DLR doesn't require the level of planning that WDW does (which is why we're going back to DLR and not WDW!) but as we're looking to book a GC villa we don't want to hold off too long on making a decision just because we want to ensure we're able to get one of those villas.

Thanks for any insight anyone may have!

The weekend itself will be busier than normal for a few reasons. Not only does the marathon produce a crowd bump (though nothing that would cause insanity), that is typically the first full weekend of Christmas celebrations. The entertainment starts going whole hog around Veterans Day, so it will be popular for that reason as well. Something to think about.
