I'm a little slow . . . I still can't "see" anything in the new logo for Club 33. Upon initial viewing, I thought the cartoon photo of the animals and palm tree was nothing out of the ordinary, either.

The only thing I could understand in last night's discussion was how adorable @donaldtoo 's new puppy, Indy is! (Apparently, only puppies must be more suited to my limited level of comprehension skills?!) :hilarious:

Yes, there was definitely some interesting sculpture, logo, label, and jewelry talk back there... :cautious: ;)
One of my retail gigs was at Key Jewelers. I sold my share of the Jane Seymour "Open Hearts" collection...! :joyfull:
:D ;) :)

And, Indy says Thanks! ;) :)

Glad to hear that BOG was good. We ate there last December; Mom and DW had the Pan-seared Salmon on Leek Fondue and their's was great. I had the Grilled Strip Steak and not so good - pretty gristly. If it wasn't alreay 10P and we weren't so beat, I would have sent it back. I'm hoping that my experience there for dinner was a one off. We did have lunch there back in March of 2013 and it was good.

Yep, exact same thing with us. We had a party of 6 for dinner last June. DS and myself ordered the strip steak. Major disappointment. At first I thought it was just mine, but, DSs was the same. And, I've seen others post similar. Everyone else, although not blown away by any means, enjoyed their dishes. Ratatouille, salmon, and the shrimp and scallops (sans scallops with extra shrimp for DWifey).
Have not done lunch there, yet. But, I consistently, hear it's better.

You're at a bored meeting? ;)

Just got home. For the Love of God some presenters are beyond irritating.

Deep down everyone would like to give them a time limit but ya can't do that, somethings like text book adoption and analysis of test scores are too important not to give more time to. Unfortunately those they try to rush through and simple things are like blah blah blah blah

Food for @Cesar R M ...tonight, it's a south western PA special, chip chopped BBQ ham. For those not nearby (@MOXOMUMD are you familiar with it?) it's very thinly sliced ham made by Isly's...a well known name round these parts. Add BBQ sauce, a diced pickle, maybe some diced banana pepper and cook till it's burnyour mouth hot, then slap on a bun with cheese and eat :) I opted for sliders tonight.

And Daisy approves.

Even though she didn't get any for dinner. But she did have a banana, and she loves bananas.
Oh yes, Isaly's, yum. I haven't had that in a minute. Are you eating Snyders Chips?

Oh my gosh.

I just took the iPad down to Hubby to show him these pics. He was familiar with it, and said there's Youtube videos showing this exact resort/runway.

Guess what I'm doing once I'm all caught up here.

Yep, I first saw this years ago on a History or Travel Channel "Most Dangerous Airports", or some such, show. I love planes and flying. Would really like to (with a good set of ear plugs ;)) go check that beach out sometime. :)

OMG...and you take him out of the house?

:D

Edit: sorry Gabe...I know he's your husband and you love him, but that's kind of embarrassing.

Ha! No offense taken. Luckily he isn't served stewie or casserole thingies out of the house or his Moms. My Gran taught me to make Goulash, Paprika Chicken, lovely soups and melt in your mouth stews. I will put up with his unorthodox eating habits so the rest of us can enjoy them. If he was anything but proper in public we probably would never of had a second date.

Probably/Probably Not - skews the process.

Got JJA IV in 25 questions for me, with no Don't Knows/Probably/Probably Nots.

And yes, @Cesar R M, the app costs $1.99.

After it failed to get Ritchie Blackmore, and gave up, it gave me a list of ten probables. Not on the list either. It then asked me to submit who it was, which I did.
I guess it's still learning.
Plus, I tried not to answer with any "Don't know"s or "Probably"s, but, I also may have answered incorrectly, based on what I thought I remembered about him. Although, I had him up on google to try and be as accurate as I could. In this case (if that's the case), it may have guessed my choice sooner based on a few "Don't know"s and such... ;) :)

So I went to hit "Post Reply" for my post above, and it said I had to wait 30 seconds to do that, even though I hadn't posted in the last 30 seconds. Then I tried it again, and it posted right away. But then my post (51699) along with the one above it (51698) appeared to have posted again, just like double-posts. I refreshed the page, and it didn't double post at all, even though it had shown double posts.

So that explains my edits.

Construction is starting on the below ground hotel in China complete with waterfall.

undergroundhotel5.jpg

Developed by Shanghai Shimao Property Group, under the management of InterContinental Hotels Group, this underground hotel is expected to extend 19 stories into the bottom of an abandoned quarry, located in Tianmashan. Measuing 100 meters deep, 240 meters long, and 160 wide, this pit has been abandoned since the year 2000, and recently construction begun on the high-end hotel, named InterContinental Shimao Shanghai Wonderland, at the foot of Tianma Mountain It’s boasted to be 19 stories tall (or 19 stories deep?), containing 380 rooms, and an underwater restaurant.
