Online reservations problems

Good Morning!
Is anyone else having problems retrieving Resort/Dining reservations online? Entering my Confirmation Number and name results in being advised they can not link or find our reservation. A call to the "tech" section resulted in being advised that there were probs, and try again in a month. I was able to verify via telephone, but dining reservations and online check-in will be coming soon.
Doing reservations,etc. online, also saves the 45 minute wait time I just had.

The website seems to be "nice to have" but I wouldn't rely on it. It was able to find all of my reservations and I would try to link them. It seemed to be successful but It never seemed to have them appear on line. We are using the IPO and I asked them to look into it and make sure our ADR's were good. They were and they indicated that they had to add them to the website for us. I don't know what that entailed but they are now viewable on line. If not for the IPO I don't know what else I could have done.

Also, I made reservations for BBB - those don't seem to be linkable either....

I cannot even get to my section online. I am going to have to call the resort to request 1st floor and close due to my accident. Even if I pay more, it will have to be done.

Thanks, Rick. We had used the site for our last trip (Sep2011), and had no probs with ADRs or online check-in. The CM I talked with said they were having problems with reservations that were made before December 12, 2012. Not all, but a lot of them. It just seemed like "a month" was a pretty long time to resolve a problem that effects a lot of guests. The only advice on the site was to try later or call.

I would plan on trying to do online dining reservations at 6am at 180 days cross your fingers and if that doesn't work call them in at 7 eastern time!! I had to call mine in!

The CM I talked with did say an advantage of doing ADRs telephonically was they could be made for the entire "length of stay", even if they were over the 180 days.

after having "linked" my two room reservations for october over 10 times and they just don't stay, they finally are staying. great!
yeah....i made a reservation yesterday for a room for april. new trick.......it doesn't show up, so I try to link it again, and it doesn't show up , but now it says -you can't link it again because "it's already been linked". so i guess it will never show up!
but don't worry- "it's linked".
i am so frustrated, i want to spit. doesn't matter for the april trip, but when i want to make adrs for october, room ressie needs to be there, or i don't get the plus 10 advantage until 7 am when you can call!!!
this new site is AWFUL!

Oh, that may be true. When I went on line 6am morning of 180 days I could make ADR's on line for the first day of our trip only. I had to wait till 7am to call a CM and make the 180 + 10 days. I wonder if that is a quirk in there system or if it is designed that way...

Sorry that you are having the same problems, but glad to know we are not alone. We also are going in October - hopefully they will resolve things soon. Last time we ran copies of all our adrs, just in case there were later computer problems.
The new sysem is , or transfering to it, does not seem typical Disney quality.

Good question, Rick! If they were going to allow length of stay adrs, seems online would be more efficient, rather that tying up a CM for the time it takes, to say nothing of the long wait on hold the guest has to endure.

When my reservations cant be retrieved online, I have figured out that if I sign in again to the system and book a new dining reservation that I know I will cancel in the next hour or so, it will either show that new one as well as all my old ones during those dates (that were unfindable) upon confirmation or it will send me a confirmation email that will have a link to all my previous reservations. Try it! Just dont forget to cancel the dummy reservation that got you to your old existing ones!!

Its too early for us to make adrs, but will give it a try when I can. It is a shame to have to jump through hoops to make a dining reservation. I'll be happy just to be able to link my hotel resv.
