Thread seems to have quieted down a bit. Time to spice it up with a spicy jalapeño cheese pretzel. (In my opinion, while tasty, not really much in the cheese department)

And now we pop over to ...... no not PoP - Wilderness Lodge, for some Artist Point.

Bread, butter, and black volcanic salt (my daughter has a new favorite salt now)

Smoky portabello soup - who can resist

232323232%7Ffp63273%3Enu%3D6898%3E%3A6%3B%3E257%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3B8%3C7%3C7%3B2348nu0mrj

Kids bowl of watermelon appetizer. And I just noticed her thumbs inside her fists, oooo she is going to get called out on that one.

My daughters tenderloin (fillet if you wish) with potatoes and green beans - much much better than the one I had at California Grill

232323232%7Ffp6326%3B%3Enu%3D6898%3E%3A6%3B%3E257%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3B8%3C84546348nu0mrj

My buffalo striploin, asian inspired rice, and homemade kimchi. All around excellent. Kinchi was a nice foil. They make it milder than normal on purpose. I live in the middle of a HUGE Korean population. I am used to kimchi that melts your fillings.

Kids chicken broccoli and mashed potatoes. Wow! Another home run kids offering. $9 for that. For that price, forget eating in the parks. You can't get a kids meal at TGI Fridays for $9.

And now, dessert at Artist Point

Kids cookie and white chocolate puzzle with colored icing to paint it with. Really nice from a plating standpoint. From a eating fat mixed with sugar, topped with sugar mixed with food die standpoint - not to tasty.

and the finished 'painting'

Artist point cobbler. My daughter was not thrilled with this one. Too tart for her liking. I thought it was good though.

Coffee Two Ways - Mochaccino Bread Pudding and Vanilla Latte Creme. Well they lie, its Coffee THREE ways. (Maybe they have been talking to the tuna at California Grill). It was all very good. Nice bread pudding, nothing special coffee creme, and that thing on the right is a coffee granita. But that stuff thats under it, that looks like dirty sand, that is coarse sugar mixed with coarse ground coffee beans. Wow, something new to me. So great eaten with the granita. cold, crunchy, sweet, mild, and with explosions of coffee from the grounds all throughout it.

One kids hot dog and fries (it comes in the bucket - the chips are not included)

232323232%7Ffp63274%3Enu%3D6898%3E%3A6%3B%3E257%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3B8%3C84543348nu0mrj

One pulled pork sandwich, and one adult liquid refreshment

232323232%7Ffp6339%3B%3Enu%3D6898%3E%3A6%3B%3E257%3EWSNRCG%3D32%3B8%3C937%3B%3B348nu0mrj

Passable food, but then hunger is the best sauce.

I think I am anticipating your food photos as much as I was looking forward to Tom and Sarah's honeymoon trip report...maybe a little more. :lookaroun

I'm thinking I might do 2 reports. One for the attractions and what not, and the other for the eating. There is going to be a LOT of both!
