Pin Code usage

Just got off the phone with reservationist at WDW. The pin codes can be used for up to 3 reservations. As long as they fall within the dates allowed. I was unaware of this. It worked out great for my trip. This time it's a grand gathering trip. All three rooms I've reserved are covered by the pin code.

Only one reservation has to be in your name in cases like this.

No they didn't need to be. 1 was my name,1 my wife and another was my sisters family.

PIN codes are Disney promotions snail mailed or emailed to individuals.

This one was for free dining. The dates had to be between Feb, 28th and July 3rd. I was suprised to see June involved in a free dining pin code.

We just got a free dining pin a few days ago and immediately added it to our trip which is this Monday!

I usually get pin codes every month, sometimes they pop up in my spam folder. I believe they are just given at random.
