Hey everyone,
When we go down to WDW in september I wanted my 5 year old son to do a ABC book for school. I was wondering if everyone here can help me get ideas for every letter. We will be going to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom. We are staying at All- Star Sports. What I want to do is get a couple thing for each letter so all suggestions are welcome. Remember its from a 5 year old point of view and he knows how to take pictures, but what else can I use.
Thanks in Advance

My girls each did one of these books for "Young Author's" when they were 5. They are sooo much fun. I remember the "X" we said "eXtra large dalmations" at All Star movies. We took photos of the girls in front of the large dalmations at All Star Movies.
If you want I can PM you the different ones they used but here is a brief rundown of some ideas. Let him be creative!

A-Aladin, B-Belle, Beast, C-Chef Mickeys, Cinderella, Carousel, D-Daisy, Donald,
E-Esmerelda (I don't know if she is still out and about),Eyeore,
F-Figment (again, he might not be available) G-Goofy, Goofys Barnstormer,
H-Harambe Village area, I-Ice Cool Station, J-Jammin' Jungle Parade,
K-King Louie, Kilamanjaro Safari's, etc. well, you get the idea. There are ample opportunities at every park, every attraction and every resort. let you imagination be your guide. Also, looking back years later, its fun to read the books and see how small they were!
One last thing: don't forget park maps, postcards, fast passes etc. Good Luck.

I love the ABC books!! I read them to my class and they love them, too.
OK, so what I did for you was ask my 4 year old who has been to Disney twice already. Here are a few things he managed to tell me.(He's very busy watching The Wonder Pets)

B-Buzz Lightyear ride
C-Cinderella's Carousel
D-Dumbo
D-Dinosaur digging
G-Giraffes
J-Jungle Cruise
T-Tigger
W-Winnie the Pooh

I hope this has helped. I can think of plenty, but I thought asking a child would be best.

The harder ones:

Q - Queen of Hearts
V - Valiant
X -
Y - Yao (Mulan) or the Yeti
Z - Zeus (Hercules)

There has to be an X, somewhere.

Thinking from a kiddie's point of view, you could make finding a character whose name begins with each letter a sort of mission for the holiday. That way, you can put a photo and a autograph on each page? It would make the book fab, imo!

Okay, which characters -

A - Aladdin, Alice
B - Belle, Beast, Buzz, Brer Bear, Brer Fox
C - Cap'n Jack! Cinderella
D - Donald Duck, Dopey, Doc, Daisy Duck
E - Esmerelda
F - Figment
G - Grumpy, Goofy, Genie
H - Happy
I - Iago (No autograph but a photo at the Tiki Rooms!)
J - Jack Sparrow, Jessie, Jasmine
K - Koda (from Brother Bear)
L -
M - Mickey, Minnie, Mary Poppins, Mulan, Mushu
N -
O -
P - Pluto
Q -
R - Rafiki, Robin Hood
S - Sleepy, Sneezy, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White
T - Timon
U -
V -
W - Woody
X -
Y -
Z - Zazu (no autograph but a photo at the Tiki Rooms!)

It's actually harder to think up characters than I realised! Especially sat in my boring old office in Blighty! And trying to think of ones that actually do meet and greets is even harder!

I'll try and come up with some more but it's got me stuck now!
