Trip Report Tu in ‘25

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise

These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

Since this intro needs a picture, here are Tu.

Dollywood looks a lovely place and what beautiful decorations. It’s strange seeing you all wearing coats.

And under those coats were 2-3 layers of clothing for extra warmth! It was COLD!

Speaking of coats, I wanted to mention that I really like the purple Columbia (long jacket) that Em was wearing.

Glad to read that Em, you, and Woody all had fun at Dollywood, to celebrate Em's birthday!

Em did not get to Disney for her birthday this year. But she was pretty happy with the alternative - a park practically to ourselves!

we visit Dollywood’s sister park Silver Dollar City each November. The Christmas offerings there actually blow WDW out of the water IMO! It was a bit wet this year, but we had a great time anyways!

You both have convinced me to schedule a Dollywood Christmas trip next December. It looks fabulous..... You know what. I may look into this year. I have a couple of free weekends!

I didn't want to bombard you with post likes from the past 3 months, but your TR thread was my first stop this week now that my maternity leave is over and I have time at my desk during lunch to catch up with everyone. What: Woody’s Birthday Celebration
When: November 16-22, 2025
Where: Disney’s All Star Sports and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

It was Halloween in August on Woody’s last WDW vacation. Fall is his favorite season, but in his opinion Halloween should not creep into summer! His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, which is now usurped by all things Christmas. Turkey before tree is his preference (and we do so at home) but he was well aware that his fall birthday trip would be Jingle All the Way!

Thankfully, he was ok with that.

I really wish less rain for you though You always make the most of it, but goodness you get a lot of rain on your trips.
