It also looks like the Encanto show building's foundation could be getting concrete poured soon

It does seem like the Tropical Americas and Monstropolis projects are in a very similar stage.

Initially I pictured Disney wanting to open all of these major projects 1 year apart from each other, but these two specifically may end up being much closer together.

I'm thinking TA Fall 2027 and Monsters Spring 2028

Eh, it's 50/50 at this point, the parking lots for AK still have the name "Unicorn" for the cancelled Beastly Kingdom, so maybe it could stay? But I think that they might change "Unicorn" and "Dinosaur" to something else Avatar related and something TA related like "Jaguar" or "Capybara" once TA opens.

That or it's going to be what Agent H said.
I imagine it'll probably be what Agent H said - Simba, Mirabel, Judy, whatever the name of the main Na'avi in Avatar was, Nemo, and a character from whatever other unfitting IP they plan on shoving in Animal Kingdom (Moana? The goat from Wish?).
1. Surmise that something, which won't be liked, is going to happen.

2. Get mad about it, NOW! And let everyone know how mad you are about a thing that may never happen.

3. Profit.

Great forums these are.
At this point, there's a very thin line between being pessimistic and being realistic.
They are replacing a spinner and a carnival area.
I'd be happy if they were replacing them with attractions about DINOSAURS, which would allow them to keep Dinosaur and the Boneyard, y'know, the parts of Dinoland USA that I actually LIKED.

Instead, they're removing dinosaurs from Animal Kingdom entirely because they don't have any popular dinosaur IPs, and replacing them with two IPs that are about humans, not animals.

"Let it rot, let it rot,
Who cares if it is bad sho-ho-how?
Let it rot, let it rot,
Will it make a difference? Nooooooo
They won't care
They'll continue to pay
Let it fall apart
We're just gonna replace it anyway!
"
Yup and after it opens, in less than a year afterwards, things will be breaking down…Tiana, things in B mode or not working at all…CBJ, newly reconditioned effects not working…Astro Orbiter was reopened less than a month and they had problems…maybe Disney should just keep areas where guests can just DIG…while they’re at it, install a pedal powered pump & hand crank pump & reopen a spot near RoA so guests can prevent the river from filling back up…

Nemo already has a sign at Epcot. Besides I think the Nemo musical might be on the way out.

Spreading the openings of new offerings over several years is something Disney's done very well many times before. The ideal is always offering some reason for wanting to book that next trip even before the current one ends.

They have great promotional potential if they do this right, as I've heard clamoring for a WDW version of Indiana Jones ride since Disneyland's opened in 1995, a Monsters door coaster since the movie was released in 2001, and a Carsland since CA's opened in 2012.

They are replacing a spinner and a carnival area. They are replacing a parking lot with a roller coaster. Get a grip.
I could never complain over this one. I always cringed when I had to go thru AK's carny area. Although it was as nice as such an area could ever hope to be, I always felt it was so beneath Disney's standards (it was the carny feel that Walt was trying to avoid in crafting Disneyland). NB: no offense intended to those who have memories attached....it just always brushed-up against my particular worldview)

Not before they rename the park To
Disney's Adventure Kingdom....

Wasn't this the exact same complaint people had with Paul Pressler's run of the parks? That maintinence was thrown out the window and everything was in lousy condition? Why isn't anyone outside of this site complaining about it?

Dory and Crush have signs, I don't think Nemo does.

I doubt they'll be replacing the Nemo musical... and, honestly, I'm iffy on The Emperor's New Groove fitting in Animal Kingdom (or Iger's Disney greenlighting an attraction based on it).

I really hope they never do that. I find that name stupid and generic.
