Beyond the first day or two, will there really be sufficient demand for Walt Disney: The Ride to merit a VQ? I feel like this may actively deter people from seeing the show.

I’m excited for this! I’ve evolved from queasy at the thought of a Walt AA to optimistic this could be a respectful tribute and serve as an informative show for younger guests. I’ve got the day off Friday; hopefully I can snag a spot in the VQ.
Edit: and as soon as I post this, the Walt AA is revealed lol. Looks more like Tom Hanks as Walt than it does Walt. Or Walt after a long week of too much chili. Maybe it’s passable from a distance? Idk. Why bother with any of this if Walt’s face wasn’t achievable?

It sorta resembles Walt. He looks sleepy, like he just woke up from his cryochamber.
I will say It looks more like Walt than Trump looks like his.
That's less Walt and more "Animation Mouse Guy" from the Party City clearance bin.

Might work if you are far enough back in the theatre. The close up’s are certainly not doing it any justice. I’m going to conveniently forget to wear my contact lenses that day.

What's with his voice in the video recording they posted? We have actual footage of him saying these things, and yet it sounds robotic or like AI or something. They couldn't have just used the actual audio recordings of him speaking?

I think they did a pretty good job but not perfect. Weirdly enough I think he looks exactly like Tom Hanks’ Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks.
