Or send the finale over the lagoon so guests have a 360 view instead of viewing through fireworks smoke. You know, like they had for years past.
I remember seeing it behind America in years past too…. Like back in illuminations days. I always thought it looked really cool - when the weather cooperates of course.

They cut the food line up a lot from last year. Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and the resorts got nothing even though they previously had at least one item (and Restaurant O'saurus is cupcake-less for the first time in the four years or so I've been paying attention).

Also, they have, right next to each other:

- Waffle with fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream
- Funnel cake with fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream (both of which they normally have without the ice cream)
- Angel food cake with fruit and whipped cream

It's kind of boring.

This is the last 4th of July where each park has at least one area dedicated to the US. For over twenty five years, we've had everything; recreations of the colonial era, glamorized Hollywood, small towns from different time periods, the frontier, and even some wilderness complete with a river.

I'm glad I got to see them all. I've been marathoning the most American parts of the parks for the past few days to celebrate.

What park won’t have something US after this 4th of July?

OK.

I'm from the U.S. I don't need a theme park in the U.S. to let me know stuff about the U.S. I certainly don't need *every* theme park to have a U.S. section. Even if just one has Americana, that's sufficient. But WDW has two parks with significant Americana. So, that's gravy.

And Piston Peak is Americana. Even with the fantasy element of sentient Cars. After all, Storybook Circus is Americana with a flying elephant.

So you are an immigrant. Penguins aren't native to the USA 😉😉😉

Happy 4th to Ya

The U.S. has made it clear that they can claim Antarctic territory at some future time if they wish. As if they secretly haven't already done so. 😉

Why do you think the U.S. have put penguins on their endangered species list?

We're special!!

Happy Independence Day* to you, too.

Finale in World Showcase Lagoon? I can’t remember what extra barges were out last Fourth of July, but there is an extra one out today.

That's the WW3 barges, which were missing from the lagoon last year since they were behind the American Pavilion.

There was a rumor that they was an unexpected refurbishment last year around this time which unfortunately forced them to stay dry-docked, thus the decision to launch the July 4th tag pyro behind the American Pavilion.

I thought it was a WW3 barge, but couldn’t remember if they still had them or not as the only tag I have seen since Luminous started was the last Fourth of July.

I'm confused. If WW3 was missing last year, what Barges held most of Heartbeat Of Freedom??? Only the Final Amens moved to AA.....
