Trip Report Let's Meet Up in Disney! Where Else Would We Go?

It's the night before Crystal and I fly from the Lehigh Valley to Disney, and we couldn't be more excited. Maddy applied for the Disney College Alumni Program and is currently spending her second consecutive summer making magic in Disney. Last year, she worked at Be Our Guest. This year, she works with the characters, mainly in Hollywood Studios, but she's been in Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and tomorrow she'll be in Magic Kingdom. She finished her second year at the University of South Carolina, and will be starting this fall at Northen Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Brayden graduated from Florida State University just a few weeks ago and is currently working in Peoria, Arizona. So what better place for all four of us to meet up? Plus, Brayden's girlfriend, Bella, will be joining us for her first trip to Disney in a very long time!

Looking forward to meeting up with Madelyn tomorrow, and Brayden and Bella July 2.

First, a stop at Oga’s

We left Oga’s and walked out into a steady rain. We had planned to go to Star Tours, but the rain became a downpour. Crystal saw that Rise of the Resistance was posted at 30, so we went there. We were off in under 35 minutes! The rain eased to a drizzle, so we walked back to Smuggler’s Run

Just got back to Saratoga. Long day, but a great day. We were able to ride everything once, Rise twice during the three hours. Overall, we enjoyed this more than the Epcot after hours, which we’ve done twice. HS is so much smaller and easier to walk between attractions. I’d definitely recommend it.

Decided to sleep in and head to lunch to start our day.

Whispering Canyon was just OK. Man were they overwhelmed. Checked in at 11:13, and we are just now getting to the boat launch to Magic Kingdom. Over 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Maddy is heading to Epcot for a bit. She’ll meet up with us later

Brayden and Bella went back to Saratoga to change for their dinner reservation tonight at Be our Guest. Maddy is planning on meeting us soon. Crystal and I going to the Plaza soon. Skies looking ominous

Lots of thunder and lightning at the Magic Kingdom. Thankfully, no rain yet. Maddy said its raining at Saratoga

We had a pretty intense storm while we ate. Unfortunately, Brayden and Bella could not get to Be Our Guest in the storm.

Fireworks were fantastic. We had passes for Pooh and Space Mountain for after. That’s where we finished our night

We left Magic Kingdom and walked out to a waiting bus. Another long, but fun day. Epcot for us in the morning.

Maddy had to leave about an hour ago for work. She’s with Anna and Elsa in Epcot today. The rest of us will head to Epcot soon. We have lunch at Space and our passes are set for the day. Dinner later this evening at Garden Grill once Maddy’s shift ends, then fireworks in Epcot tonight.

Dinner at Space was good. All three sit downs have been long experiences so far this week. We have Garden Grill at 7 tonight. I’m a bit nervous with fireworks at 9 based on these three so far.
