Here's a major factor that's specific to WDW: if you're on a theme park vacation in central Florida, you're most likely walking around all day for several days in 90-degree heat and grotesque humidity with the sun beating down on you.
I'm very sympathetic to the more cultural, I'm-salty-because-a-new-ride-replaced-a-brilliant-classic-for-no-good-reason fanboy objections, but in practical terms this simple fact is stubbornly unavoidable in Orlando for most of the year:
