Wait...he does his thumbs up move? Is that new or did he do that last time? Or have all the Presidents done that? I cannot recall...

Yes, this was present the first time around.
It is a nice little detail I noticed ant that time and I am glad to hear that it was kept for this second appearance.
It is little animations like this that really bring the figures to life.

Why is it so difficult for folks to refrain from politics here and do we have to go through this for every administration going forward? Sure hope not. Let's stick to the attraction talk only, shall we?
This is exactly why many of us feel the HoP will have an announced replacement before the next election and if not by that one, certainly the one after. Some folks seemed to think it would happen this time around, but that was never a possibility given the realities of the current environment.

Instead we will get another 4-7 years of this showing to a half filled or less theater with the occasional moron cheering or booing and disturbing other guests.

Just like the previous two incarnations, I (even though I enjoyed HoP before people ruined it) and most others will skip this and it will remain one of the least popular attractions in the park until its replacement.

And remember, this is one of the calmer places discussing HoP. Don't search elsewhere. It gets real ugly real fast.

It’s an excellent attraction that showcases the incredible abilities of Disney Imagineering, while objectively displaying the American Presidency to a public that is likely in need of a break from the heat.

If you want, we can turn it into Elio’s Alien Adventure. I think that might blend perfectly into the new Cars Frontierland.
I find it flawed and ironic given actual history but I do like it. However, let's be real, most of the modern audience find it to be a boring and problematic attraction that is wasting valuable space in the middle of the busiest theme park in the entire world.

I doubt it is one of the lowest rated attractions for guest satisfaction because the general public loves it.

How is that true if….

Did I miss something?
Makes sense to me.

Statement one - A lot of people skip HoP either because they have been on it before and don't want to do it again, have no interest to begin with, or don't want the real world intruding on their vacation.

Statement two - It is one of the least popular rides in the park according to guest surveys.

Those are not mutually exclusive.

I totally misread your second point - yes it makes sense.

I thought you were saying the general public does love it - I just read the words in the wrong tone. Haha.

I do think we need to be careful on popularity…. According to touring plans Philharmagic is #3 and Tales with Belle is #4. Swiss Family Treehouse, Tiki Room, and Hall of Presidents are 38-40 with Carousel of Progress at 42.

If we only go with “popular” and fill the park with philharmagic and tales with belle…. I no longer want to visit Disney world.

I can agree that fireworks is and should always be #1!

What is the obsession with calling everything that has any sort of historical reference "Problematic"? Our nation (like the entire world and all other nations) has a history... We can't erase the bad things that have happened in our almost 250 years of existence... but by understanding the past, we see how our country and society have evolved. If it is boring to you, there are other attractions to enjoy... A lot of us still visit and enjoy the HOP on our trips.

For those who keep droning on about how “unpopular” and “low-rated” this attraction is.

Yes, I’m aware that these aren’t Guest Satasfaction surveys, but it would be interesting to know how “low” this rates and what the questioning is like.

Regardless, it rates pretty well in all of these apps that average Guests use.
