At the same time, Momentous: Party in the Night Sky was debuted. It was essentially an 10-minute addition of regular Momentous with Main Street projections accompained with rooftop spotlights, like DL and DLP does for their nighttime spectaculars (unlike Magic Kingdom's Enchantment and 2023 version of HEA, whoch does not utilize rooftop spotlights on MSUSA). Additionally, castle strobe lights began to utilized at "Momentous" finale.

Very very minor critique is that they didn’t add more pyro. Some of the pyro they reconfigured for the pre-show isn’t replaced in the main Momentous show. It felt sort of like the B-version during covid when there was a pyro shortage. But overall still a very fun show.

Not sure why Magic Kingdom does not have rooftop spots, and fountains, and drones lol. Hopefully one day they will.

Regarding fountains, it's unlikely to be appear at the MK since the equipment like that already appeared at EPCOT. Also about drones, unless Disney ditch high firework shells at the MK, the presence of drones looks unlikely, because the equipment was avaliable at Disney Springs.

Worthly mentioned that this version of Momentous is the first time to include an narrator since Disney in the Stars (Fairy Godmother's voiceover is suspected as Barbara Dirickson and accompained by many characters such as Cantonese voiceover of Mickey).

finally got to see the new parade today
tbh I think it’s just mediocre
FoF had better floats and OST imo
but it’s a good thing HKDL has a regular daytime parade again - something a Magic Kingdom styled park should ALWAYS have
Honestly, considering the whole amount of effort they put into the promotional campaign, the anniversary offerings as a whole seem kinda...underwhelming. Friendtastic! severely lacks character performers and was advertised as the "largest parade ever" at HKDL, even though half the floats are tiny Pixar floats (that remind me of Better Together from DCA and not in a good way, but at least we have a parade back so I'm not complaining) From the advertising it appeared that Momentous was getting updated with new characters and drones but they just added a 7 min pre-show lmao. No drones in the main show either. (I also remember them advertising a Princess and the Frog segment on Instagram for the prelude but guess they scrapped that) Probably just me being overly negative 🫠 But still better than Disneyland's 70th haha

IMO, HKDL did 20th Momentous the Right Way. Live The Moment, Love The Memory is Too Good to be replaced by the 20th Theme Song...

Looks like Friendtastic just has 1 Show Stop?

Agree with keeping the song, but I just thought there should've been a bit more integration of drones and other segments, something like Paris's 30th show maybe?

Do they plan on running Friendtastic at night? They had the parade route lights turned on which really serves no purpose during the daytime.

That’s a norm. Same for Paris. The show control system will initiate all lighting as part of its program; should the show run at dusk later in the year or on an overcast day the same program will run.

Oh ok. I think the parade would look nice at night. I believe HK upgraded their route lighting after the pandemic and there’s also moving lights as well? If they ever do bring back Paint The Night I bet it will look impressive.

Speaking of Paint, is there any indication of it returning? If not they should send it off to Paris or Shanghai.

I don’t think Paris wants a Night Parade. No Reason why PTN can't Return before 20th Momentous.

Might be wrong but I believe they’re from the PTN package? They were used for Momentous and we found the effect amazing, especially on MSUSA for the post show.
