Nobody said that. Good quality 3rd party acts are a great addition. This looks to be just that.

What are your thoughts on this addition?
It’s never a simple “it’s good”.

There is always a but 25-30 years ago Disney use to do this.

Any live entertainment that is appropriately themed is great to see in my opinion.

More streetmosphere is always a good thing considering they cut a lot of acts due to Covid.

Yes, and of course 3rd party acts have been a part of Disney parks for a long time - with varying levels of quality. This looks like a very high quality and appropriate choice.

But did they fix the ride vehicles or are we celebrating 50 years of moving people with "sorry, not that car with duct tape over a tear in the seat." It's like flying Spirit.
All the seat paddings were replaced in the recent big refurbishment it had in 2021. Haven't seen any tears or anything like that since then or on any livestream..

Literally saw multiple closed cars in April. Often marked with a traffic cone as you'd expect from a world-class theme park.
I remember when they got rid of the traffic cone at some point, and the CMs were quite sad about it.

Weird to see it's back... I distinctly remember multiple CMs saying they got rid of them just a few months ago!

To that point, I simply cannot stand the fact that they use sandwich board signs throughout the parks. It's so tacky, and there are other options that look classier while still maintaining the option for dropping in a new sign quickly like they do now.

Nevermind the fact that they have a sign and engraving shop on site and so many of the sandwich board signs have been in place for quite some time. Those should be permanent signs.

Cones are back? In April, a car was out, and I was really bummed there wasn't a cone! Just some laminated paper.

Regarding the New Orleans Marching band and singer - they are quite good. Was lovely to hear them while waiting in line for my last raft over to the island this weekend.

I’m actually not sure if they are 3rd party or CM’s - were there any auditions out for these parts? A mic’d singer in the park should be equity I believe.

One issue - they clearly are New Orleans - and are actually better at accurately representing New Orleans than the Disneyland entertainment in New Orleans Square. But they march all through Frontierland and then perform in front of big thunder - which is makes no sense theme wise.

The previous Banjo Brothers and Bob fit in anywhere in Frontierland.

I’ll also mention they have a team of managers and tech.’s with them which is overkill for what this is - the manager aggressive yelling “step to the right” is not necessary.
