MK The Hall of Presidents closing for refurbishment on January 20, 2025 [Reopened June 29, 2025]

Regardless of political affiliation, the audience has gotten sufficiently immature that they can't just take the theme park attraction for what it is. It's to the point where I don't want to take my kids to this show anymore because it's just not a pleasant experience. And that's why I think it should be closed. Too many people ruin the experience and I would rather have that capacity used for something that everyone can enjoy without the constant heckling and obscenities.

That's a sad indictment on the state of our country, in my opinion, but true. Just as they advise guests to 'please remain seated' before every ride, they should say 'please remain silent' before the show, and eject those who do not, just like they would someone who does not remain seated while a ride is in motion.

The whole point is that the poster clearly knows the rules and blatantly continues to to violate them, and it IS possible to have a discussion about the attraction itself without ever referencing the personal side of politics for ANY animatronic president in that show; because if you really wanted to play that game, there’s dozens of presidents in that attraction that did things that left a terrible historical legacy.

Basically, regardless of how strong you feel, posting here is a privilege not a right, and you know what you are agreeing to by posting here. @The Mom has made that very clear and that’s that. Don’t post in the thread if you don’t like it. Not rocket science

The other site appears to be first on the scene and has a video.

Considering the timing (~10:10am), this must be a video of the first, if not second show, indicating to me that they had 'reporters' swarming the attraction on the daily on the off chance it will reopen that day. No guest can get to MK from off property that fast.

These sites have people onsite basically every day… to hear it opening that day and heading straight there isn’t that far fetched.

They get news of changes by reporting them - not just being told

Ok, now it's my turn to try this game:

In the last decade I've gone to HoP over a DOZEN times!
-The first was in 2017 when a man stood up in the middle of Lincoln's speech and started chanting "Jeter Stinks!"
-The second was later in the same year when a pack of wolves somehow made their way into the theater and ate a kid.
-The third was the following year when that kid who somehow survived the wolf attack made his way back into the theater seeking his vengeance on said wolves who were nowhere to be found... so he clobbered Hoover with a stick.
-The fourth I was having a moment and thought I was flying the entire time of the presidential roll call.
-The fifth was when someone stood up and yelled "You can't handle the truth!" to his spouse...

This is kinda fun.

Philharmagic is my go-to napping spot at MK. I fall asleep the fastest in there. Highly recommend it.

The new animatronic looks just like him, but it almost seems like his facial expressions are not as advanced. Anyone else see what I'm seeing here? The mouth movements appear to be simply opening and closing, without any forming of an "o" shape, like it used to. I've only watched the "other site's" video so it isn't the highest quality.
