Trip Report Let's Meet Up in Disney! Where Else Would We Go?

It's the night before Crystal and I fly from the Lehigh Valley to Disney, and we couldn't be more excited. Maddy applied for the Disney College Alumni Program and is currently spending her second consecutive summer making magic in Disney. Last year, she worked at Be Our Guest. This year, she works with the characters, mainly in Hollywood Studios, but she's been in Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and tomorrow she'll be in Magic Kingdom. She finished her second year at the University of South Carolina, and will be starting this fall at Northen Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Brayden graduated from Florida State University just a few weeks ago and is currently working in Peoria, Arizona. So what better place for all four of us to meet up? Plus, Brayden's girlfriend, Bella, will be joining us for her first trip to Disney in a very long time!

Looking forward to meeting up with Madelyn tomorrow, and Brayden and Bella July 2.

Made our way to Epcot

We had Disco Inferno as our song. This ride still makes me a bit woozy

First time at STK. The burger was delicious

But we weren’t done eating (or drinking). Next stop, Cookes of Dublin for gluten free fish and chips (actually I hit up Paddy’s first )

We made a few dessert stops after Cookes, then walked to the boat launch to make our way back to Riverside before heading to Hollywood Studios. When we arrived at the boat dock, we were informed it was closed for lightning in the area, so we had to walk back to catch a bus to the resort. We exited at French Quarter then made the short walk back to our room.

After enjoying the taco cookie from Erin McKenna’s, we made our way to catch the bus to Hollywood Studios. Skies are ominous and thunder is frequent, but

Our stay at Hollywood was short. We made a few stops and decided to go back. We have an early start tomorrow morning for a day at Animal Kingdom and a late dinner at Toledo.

We took a safari ride, then decided to see the Lion King, a show we haven’t seen in a few years. In line for the 10 AM show

We left Lion King and made our way to Yak and Yeti for lunch. It’s been a very long time since we’ve dined, and it will be only our second time.

After lunch we plan on Riding Expedition Everest and Dinosaur before seeing Nemo, another show we haven’t seen in a long time.

After lunch, we made our way to EE and dinosaur

We decided to cancel our pass to see Nemo and take the bus to Epcot to go Soarin’.

After that, we plan on hitting up Magic Kingdom for a few rides and to visit the newly reopened Hall of Presidents before returning to Riverside to relax before dinner tonight. If the rain holds off, we may stop by the pool
