One level and the tighter space? Ouch. I’ll say this - the smaller the scale the bigger the drop better be. I’ll take those 4 show scenes and a drop from the second story over a Coco version of Tangled.
I don't want you to set yourself up for a major disappointment....

Policing which themepark vlogger people enjoy is kinda silly, so I wont respond. Cheers!
I think there's a fair bit of skepticism towards vlog world on the forums, particularly because a lot of the "insider info" and "new/rumors" that they report on are often....generated on these boards by actual insiders.

I personally very much enjoy Brickey's speculative/design videos, but I can see why those who don't enjoy him may find it a bit rich to be reporting a vlogger's opinion as "good news"

I don't think anyone would take issue with just bringing up his points for discussion though, and I did particularly enjoy his Coco takes

It's a loss because Monsters Inc has one. Also, both Shanghai Pirates and Tokyo Peter Pan don't have wheelchair accessible vehicles. There are lots of people who cannot transfer.

this is a great point in terms of accessibility - that's one area where Disney has a very distinct leg up on Universal

Again just because those others don't have one doesn't mean one cannot be added, as different countries have different requirements. There are plenty of ways to incorporate such a vehicle into a ride with a drop. Heck if flume ride can have a wheelchair accessible vehicle and flume rides can have drops, there is nothing from a ride profile perspective that prevents one from being added. Its just a matter on if the ride developer, in this case Disney and whomever they partner with to build it, have the will to do it.

Also a "loss" indicates a lack of replacement or equivalent experience, since we don't know anything at this point we cannot say its an actual loss.

Hahah why what do you know? Im not expecting a big drop. Was just trying to make the point that the more lackluster the attraction the more I feel it needs a bit of thrill to offset that. A drop or two could make a C ticket feel like a D ticket.

lol I've got zero inside info - and to be clear, if I were king for a day, I'd love to see a ludicrous 50 foot drop into Paradise Bay. I also am 100% in favor of adding more realistic punchy indoor drops, but I do think with the slate of other new attractions coming to DCA, Coco will likely be the most accessible of the offerings.

Mostly agree except for the notion that a drop on Coco makes the attraction less accessible in any meaningful way. Id imagine most of the babies and grannies aren’t missing out on Frozen Ever After.

"I won't go on the Elsa ride because of the drop"-maybe .01% of all people that visit that park.

lol yeah I keep using that as an example for this very reason. It’s like we have a prototype y’all. A family friendly boat ride based on animated Disney/ Pixar IP with a drop. Two drops right? Including one backwards? And it packs ‘em in. People of all ages. If they don’t include a drop I don think it will be because they wanted it to be more accessible. It will be because it’s more convenient or cheaper not to include one.

Forgot to say that it is very likely that if Coco does include a drop that it will be more physically thrilling than any moment on either Avatar or Avengers considering the ride system for those attractions.

Brickey shared a new layout idea for Coco. This layout would keep the parades, which is the ideal outcome for DCA.

Brickey said hell with all the rumors huh? Or more likely he hasn’t heard them. Even the best vloggers are usually a step behind most of us here. They just can’t consume rumors/ news at the rate that we do as most of them are busy creating content in addition to full time jobs. I remember many of the vloggers talking about Pandora going into Grizzly Peak at a point where we had already been talking about the backlot for months.

But unless you factor in placement for the approach and overpass going over to the Disneyland Forward expansion, it's all academic. We're talking a major tangle at what is now the parade step-off gate between Incredicoaster/Emotional Whirlwind and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. I know Imagineering thinks that three feet of access is big enough to fit a new attraction, but I'm not sure how this all fits. It looks like a huge bottleneck to me.

Halfway through the video. What he doesn’t seem to be considering is the possibility that they re using up some of that landscaping space along DL Drive because they’re NOT using all of that backstage space behind Incredicoaster. Other things he’s not considering. When was the last time Disney built anything close to a 15 minute boat ride? Also when considering that they are simultaneously building two other E ticket attractions at DCA, including a mega E ticket boat ride, it’s hard to believe Coco will also be in that caliber.

Well I suppose a broken clock is right twice a day. lol I joke but did you also not say GE and/ or MMRR weren’t possible where they ended up being built?

I'm not defending his theory becuase i'm not him lol. But regarding the attraction being E-ticket: I think both Avengers and Avatar being described as thrilling bodes well for Coco, as Coco would fill the void of an E-ticked family attraction. It could be the opposite, but Disney seems more E-ticket happy with the new attractions announced in the states. That's my optimistic reasoning at least.

It would be great if it were an E ticket but for me when I take a step back, look at the facts, the constraints and consider the rumors it’s highly unlikely Coco is an E ticket. Especially at the sort of scale he was hinting at in this video. One other thing he’s not considering. He is 100% sure that Toy Story is going to be a third gate and if that’s true than wouldn’t there be a strong possibility that Simba Lot is never used for theme park space but used for more hotels/ DVC and shops/ restaurants instead?

I’m not sure why there is so much attention on the Simba lot right now. We found out that all the new DCA additions are going inside DCA proper. Simba is not being touched for a while. I have to imagine Frozen on the DL side and Tomorrowland would come first.
