The 'Disney adult' of 2025 is very different from the 1955 or 1980 'adult visiting Disney'.
I don’t think that is exclusive to Disney.

To be fair I've still not seen the movie but thoroughly enjoy the ride. I genuinely think had they just made the ride as it is if the film didn't exist, that it would still be as enjoyable if a little bit confusing for those trying to follow the story. For me the enjoyment comes from the effects of being made to feel small and the way at times you don't know whether you're actually moving or not, it's done very well. If you've not ridden this, I suggest you give it a try.Maybe that is why I'm upset at the changes they have made (being a Disney adult) since I hate that they put in Frozen for example. I would have rather that they kept Norway the way it was. More for adults. I guess you could also say the same about the rat ride in France. I never saw the movies. I don't care about the movies. I have no reason to see the movies. So these rides as they are mean nothing to me.
I have to agree with that. I have never seen Cinderella, Toy Story, only one Star Wars movie, 20K leagues under the see, Frozen, one Indian Jones movie, no Pandora, almost any of the Great Movie Ride movies other than Wizard of Oz, Stitch and I'm sure many others that the rides were based on. Yet, for some reason I enjoyed them all just as rides or shows. Why do I have to have seen the movies when they are all self explanatory. I don't know if I would have enjoyed the movies and I will probably never find out, but it was those attractions that kept me coming back all those years. To be fair I've still not seen the movie but thoroughly enjoy the ride. I've said it before and I'll say it again.... WHO?One of my opinions I feel that differs from many on here is that I do not believe Tom Grossi would be a good narrator for Spaceship Earth when it is time for another refurbishment.
Since the OP is apparently Tom Grossi, this comment violates forum rules as it’s disrespectful of fellow members.I've said it before and I'll say it again.... WHO?
The Iger Mantra is that everything has to cross-promote a movie or it's not good.Maybe that is why I'm upset at the changes they have made (being a Disney adult) since I hate that they put in Frozen for example. Toy Story Land is a good land. I think people think too much about it from the adult perspective and not from the kid perspective; yeah, the two new rides aren't amazing or anything, but they're fun and are great for kids what is what the purpose was. Also, Toy Story Mania is one of the best rides in the resort, it's so fun.
Except for the Christmas Time light and music program in the SOA I agree. The rest of the year it was a waste of time and, in those days, film. When I first went they were still making movies there and TV show. The top of the sound stages was really interesting. The backlot tram was far more interesting as well. However, after they ended than Toy Story and Star Wars was a welcome and positive change.Backlot tour was a shell of itself and needed to be put out of its misery, SOA was a waste of space and Batuu is far better.
I like the parades, because they are people-eaters. Rides become more open.I could care less about parades. Then again, I’m no longer four years old.
If it doesn't blow you away, it will still do some severe damage to your wallet.I live in a major metropolitan city (Boston) so I think the food at WDW is meh, nothing ever blows me away.
Sigh. Why must people be so judgmental?I feel those youtubers and 'influencers' who were crying after first riding 'Rise of the Resistance' were faking it for dramatical effect.
You know it's true.
