Is it just me, or do the names Treasure and Adventure feel like they should be flipped? The Disney Treasure is thematically all about adventure—drawing heavy inspiration from daring Disney tales like Aladdin, and even nods to Adventureland itself. Meanwhile, the Disney Adventure feels more like the crown jewel of the fleet. It’s the largest ship yet and packed with cutting-edge attractions—truly a treasure in its own right. Anyone else think Disney missed a golden opportunity here?

I have a feeling the Treasure was going to be called the Adventure but then there was the curveball that Chapek bought the Global Dream 2. I think the Disney Adventure is a more 'generic' name which fits a standalone/first of it's kind/entry to market DCL ship whereas in the Western market we'll accept any old name they put on a ship at this point and they did a good enough job selling the name Treasure to the theme of the ship.

So yes I think the Treasure was originally going to called the Adventure but I don't think the Adventure should be called Treasure. :)
