I think the door coaster lends itself so well to a ride that I prefer it.

Ride and Seek is a great ride though. The queue is incredible, that’s actually what I initially thought when I saw the facade.

I will say in terms of DCA or a similar park with very limited space replacing limited capacity or underused capacity is more of an upgrade than at Disney world, especially as some reconfiguration allows Disney to plan out for future additions. I imagine the avengers campus fitting the stark attraction now is an example of this

How would they do that when they both take place at the same place?

I get this comes off as a cop out excuse but both attractions do take place inside the factory at (relatively) the same point. You could just build another ride though.

I’m extremely excited for Harry’s at the Studios. Sushi!

The only potential information coming out soon with Epic Universe is packages and information on Helios Grand Hotel.

Universal usually does not do announcements for new lands unless construction already started. Universal is not ready to announce anything for Zelda. I recalled Theme Park Stop basically mentioned they are basically still deciding on what attractions to do for the land.

Announcing Pokemon right now is not going to happen because of the rumors of Universal wants to replace Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit before Simpsons Land goes away. Simpsons land by the last time I read any updates on rumor of closing is in 2027 or when the contracts ends in 2028 and that means no announcement anytime soon.

As far as Hollywood Rip Rockit replacement announcement, that is not going to happen before the near end of 2025 due to the Rumors of that ride closing in 2026.

Universal announcing Phase 2 Epic Universe right now is a no. Here are multiple reasons for why Universal wouldn't announce anything for phase 2 for Epic Universe right now:
  • Not all construction for opening day stuff for Epic Universe are done yet.
  • Epic Universe soft opening is not happening till next year.
  • Universal does not want people to delay trips to Epic Universe till phase 2 is done.
  • Celestial park already has 2 phase 2 eating places under construction, but it is not worthy of a announcement yet.
  • Construction for Special Event Stage area didn't start yet and that is supposed a Phase 2 project.
  • Universal is not doing any phase 2 construction with Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic and Super Nintendo Land till phase 1 is for both lands are done.

Overall, I'm a fan of the offerings D23 expo presented for future parks investment & expansion.

-I'm no Cars fan, but i like that if they needed to use the IP, it's at least a new looking ride & do actually really enjoy the wilderness feel & evolution of "Frontier."
-I love the Monsters Inc Coaster - and really hope Muppets aren't chopped for this, especially considering Launch Bay has tons of useless space right there.
-Villainsland will be amazing, i have no doubts.
-The upgrades to DCA are all seemingly very wonderful attractions too!

The ONLY gripe I have is timeline. None of these projects are going to be here within 2 years, and it's purposeful how slow they build.

Disney takes WAY TOO LONG-- the 2027, 2028, 2029 timelines make such a positive press conference dwindle in glamour.

I hope these short term money extracting idiots sell their shares to people who believe in investment and actually growing numbers instead of lazily raising prices. A huge problem with Disney decision making has been catering to the short term. My hope with these announcements and a commitment to future investments as stated so far being on a lot of new investors that push for more investment and real growth.

I like the cruise investments although I am not the target audience because they are a way to take some of the heat off park capacity as well as offer alternative vacations as park capacity and demand increases. Disney can also offer more combo vacation packages in markets close to parks.

I do wonder if Singapore or more realistically Malaysia nearby would be an option for a Disney resort to combo with cruise expansion at some point. We have universal and Legoland as well as an airport that continues to expand on volume.

Future investments in parks still suggests a new gate somewhere is possible. I wonder if it will actually be in a new area of the world.

Moth also brought up 2026 in the Cars thread and later hinted at an RnR retheme so I wonder if that's the something unanounced for 2026 that @wdwmagic was alluding to
