I am. No, I don’t think Iger is the second coming of Walt (or even an Eisner, part 2, for that matter), but I think he’s way better than Chapek simply because he wants to be part of Walt’s legacy.

Also, it sounds like he’s going to let the board make the bigger decisions.

Just your standard issue 2 year factory warranty on CEO-trons. If they tank your stock in under 2 years you can return it to the factory and you an get your old one back. I learned this in business school

Exactly. Iger created this mess by picked Chapek in the first place after spending years not creating a succession plan so he could play the reluctant leader. This is good for Iger who really gets to drive home that narrative but it’s not good for anyone else.
