Dining questions for Disney Wish

I'm taking my first cruise early next year on the Wish and I don't know how some things work. It's a 4-night cruise so we will be assigned one of the rotational restaurants twice. When do we get that information?

We want to book a dinner at Enchante on the night that is repeated and Palo for brunch on our Day at Sea - how difficult is it to book the adult restaurants for a first-timer? Is it difficult to get your choice of night?

Also, I've heard that you make reservations for the adult restaurants on board - is this true?

Thanks!!

You now have to use the DCL Navigator mobile app to see your dining rotation. That information will not be available in the app until you are connected to the ships WiFi network (DCL-GUEST) on the day you set sail.

You can make reservations for the adult dining venues online (DisneyCruise.com) or using the DCL mobile app. When you can do that is based on your Castaway Club status. First time cruisers can't book dining or port adventures until 75 days from the sail date (and must be paid in full).

The Wish has a lot more Concierge Level staterooms than the other DCL ships do, and Concierge Level gets first crack at dining and port adventure reservations. Concierge staterooms and Platinum Castaway Members will likely get most of the available dining spots. If nothing is available when you can book online, keep checking. Once on-board the ship, there will be a location (currently Luna) where you can try for dining reservations.

Thank you so much!! We don't plan to do Concierge Level. Is it unlikely that we would be able to actually get reservations if we're first timers and not Concierge?

I think it's very likely that no reservation times will be available when your booking window opens. A large percentage of your fellow passengers are going to be repeat cruisers whose booking window opens before yours does. If nothing is available when your booking window opens, keep checking periodically as peoples plans change and something might open. Also, check once you are on board the ship if you can't get a reservation before your cruise. If you do manage to get a reservation before you sail, you may find the day/time isn't exactly what you would like and by visiting the dining change venue, you may be able to get it switched to a better day/time.

We are platinum and just debarked a b2b on the Wish. We were unable to pre-book speciality dining. Night 2 of the cruise, we went to the Rose (where Palo and Enchante are located) and asked about availability for Palo. The last night was all that was left. The host said the last night is the least busy, so you may have luck finding a reservation at Enchante on the last night.
