I agree with many of the posters regarding scale.....However guests seem to enjoy the area.

Disney, and guests, seem to be favoring rides withba little more thrill factor and less concern with details that used to be important

Last I heard it was meant to open sometime before the end of 2022, but truthfully I'm not sure if that's still the case.

I suspect this will open soon. The entrance area is blocked off to finish that spot. That and for selfish reasons I'd like it to be so. When I go late this year my first choice is sci fi but this would be a worthy choice for fun and theming I suspect. Plus another themed sit down will take pressure off the others for ADRs.

They barely have staff to operate the things that are already built. This is being slow played for a reason.

It’s the new concept art.

The tables will be set up in a giant sand pit. Al fresco of course, with one umbrella per 10 tables. At 9am anyone with ADRs that day will be able to buy an ILL for an umbrella so they can eat in the shade.

You just aren't looking close enough. The scale of the ladder is all wrong, so that's why you cant see it.
