Managed to see it, enjoyed the first 30 minutes and then it devolved into a yet another morality tale. Was hoping it would be more Roger Rabbit with videogame references, but it was yet another morality tale.

I thought the 3D was very well done. We always do a matinee so it costs $3.oo less;)

Well...3D. I mean it looked very good. I don't know that I actually flinched or anything at things on the screenbut it made the movie more immersive. I have not seen it in non-3D so I don't really have anything to compare it to but since all of the textures looked sooo good I would say that it should at the very least be viewed at a newer theater with top of the line projection to get the most out of it.

I actually didn't see it in 3D, and am not sure I see the need to do so

Really enjoyed it. Just a great, fun, popcorn movie. I especially liked the Sugar Rush world. And the short that ran before the movie, "Paperman", was brilliant.

Just got back from it and thought it was great.
This if the first Disney CGI movie I've actually liked (I skipped Tangled).
I finally saw Brave this past Friday and Wreck it Ralph is hands down the better film. Pixar better step up their game.
I especially liked the "Sugar Rush" scenes and all the fun the animators had in creating a world made out of candy and figuring out how it would move and sound as the characters interacted with it.

As good as Wreck it Ralph was, I was shocked at how moving the animation in Paperman is.
Very simple stuff, but the CGI-to-handrawn filter they're playing with there looks like a real winner. I'd love to see a whole film done in that style.

I truly enjoyed this film. IMO this proves Disney is still capable of creating original and "boys" franchises. To me it was just as good as anything pixar has released as of late and it was well written making me really care about the characters. My only gripe is the amount of time spent in Sugar Rush. I would have liked larger portions of movie relized in some of the other game enviroments...bit that's also why it was so funny at times. The sequel should take care of that ;).

Yup. Alan Tudyk was doing the voice as a combination of Ed Wynn and Charles Nelson Reilly.
