Expect more than T shirts too.
That's probably the adult way of looking at it.
I'm just not there with it. It still feels like a knife in the back to capitalize like that on removing fan favorites from the parks.
And you can probably add the delay of ending Aladdin's run at the Hyperion theater to the list (initially slated to end about 5 years ago for a Toy Story show).
$300 dessert party with opportunity to launch one shell during the final show?
Pins made from the firework debris/shells from the final show?
There's already ornaments too with the shirts
$600 to be shot into the air with one of the shells at the final performance?
Honestly i would do that...
I've heard about that also does anyone have pictures?
Not the most creative as some of the more recent Disney shirts but I'm probably gonna buy one lol
I really do enjoy Wishes but I don't have that sentimental attachment to it. I don't really get attached to nighttime fireworks, at least right now.
They're enjoyable but I'm looking forward to the replacement. I just remain cautions about the amount of fireworks involved. I don't want it to be a case of them looking to scale back. Sure the other stuff will be impressive and it looks like a great deal of effort is being put into the new show, but I'm still a tad cautious.
I'm also hopeful whatever update/replacement Illuminations gets is worthy of it. It's a great show, but I still don't have that attachment to it.
As fun as it is to hear about the projections and animation behind them, my fear is that with how they're really promoting these features that the fireworks won't be as big of a focal point as they currently are in Wishes. One would think they'd be trying to innovate with fireworks too, but considering they haven't promoted that at all, I'd expect things to be scaled back in terms of pyro.
Remember TDO was selling animal scat desserts over in AK a while back...
Miss wishes you will Padawan, darkness is coming
Surely that's from Etsy?
Couldn't find this one from Etsy, but I think if that one really is from Disney directly, I think I like this non-Disney one slightly better...
Unrelated but slightly related. This video comparison of the finale of Ignite Shanghai just popped up on YouTube.
Putting aside the disappointing gradual reduction of pyro, the top left might give us a clue. Maybe Happily Ever After is poised to be the multipoint nighttime spectacular that Ignite Shanghai was supposed to be, but never was.
I'm not liking the reduction of Pyro in SDL! I wonder who's thought that was, SDL or WDI?
I was really disappointed when the top left didn't make SDL's opening, but the finale then was good enough I guess. I HOPE that wasn't WDI's thinking that will come to MK after HEA been open for awhile!
Then again, with the dry spell continuing in FL, who knows what HEA willl look like on May 12th. We all know that HEA or MK doesn't need to get off on the wrong foot!
I don't believe it was an issue of financial cost so much as it was environmental cost. (Noise pollution...air pollution...)
With WDW and the "blessing of size" factor, I don't believe the big booms will be a problem.
They already did.. there was animal poo food at Animal Kingdom!
