This thread is for Wreck-It Ralph fans only! If you're not, than this thread isn't for you. I wish November 2 was today. Who's with me?

I absolutely cannot wait for this! I think it's going to be a huge hit for WDA, and that its characters (the original characters, not the v-game icons like Sonic, who of course are already uber-famous) are going to be extremely popular - especially the characters from the "Sugar Rush" game. I foresee tons and tons of fan art and fan fiction and lots of merchandising for those characters down the line!

This does seem like a slam dunk concept. My wife and I (51 years young) are all geeked because of the older characters that the young'uns may not get. My kids (all in their 20's) are thrilled as well. If the movie is as good as it seems, it may be a grand slam win for WDFA. I hope so. Movies have been a little dry lately.

Excited as well, I'm sure the inner geek in me will adore this film.

Still, sad that there's no TF2 in the film; it complements the film's animation style perfectly!

I'm looking forward to this one and hope it doesn't disappoint. My favorite parts of the trailers I've seen thus far have been the characters and references to old video games so my one concern is that they've shown you everything like that already and it doesn't really go much further. DS6 is looking forward to this strictly based on seeing Qbert and the Pacman ghost and Bowser. LOL!

I just needed to see video games to make me happy.

I think the movie has a brilliant concept. I don't think an animated movie has approached the topic video games like this before, I'm really excited about it! I'm curious to see how they'll integrate it into the parks (I know that there are already meet-and-greets scheduled, right?).

Sounds like your son and I would get along! :)

I was surprised to see a Frankenweenie trailer on the Avengers blu-ray and no Wreck-It Ralph at all. I would think there would be a lot of 18-49 year olds ready to reminisce about their video game days who would also be drawn to the Avengers.

There is no official date yet. But Ralph and Vanellope will be in the Animation building at DHS

I can't wait for Wreck It Ralph. It looks so fun! I usually don't go to too many movies on opening weekend but will be there for this one. I am looking forward to seeing the movie and hopefully doing a meet-and-greet in January.

I'm excited. We'll be on vacation when it releases and we've already carved out some time in our schedule on 11/2 to see it in Downtown Disney.
