Seems there's a lot of talk about DHS possibly bringing Cars Land to the Backlot/LMA area. Don't get me wrong, I love the look and idea of Cars land in DCA, but just for kicks, which Pixar-inspired land would you like to see instead of Cars?

Toy Story: For a number of reasons, I can't see this happening on the scale that it has already happened in Hong Kong Disneyland, nor do I think it would be worth another clone at this point!

A Bug's Life: Being that this, too, is in another park, I wouldn't exactly like to see it at DHS, personally.

Monsters Inc.: Now here's where I think things could get interesting! Granted, there are already several attractions dedicated to this movie, such as the Laugh Floor in the Magic Kingdom, the flashlight tag attraction Ride & Go Seek in Tokyo, and Mike and Sully to the Rescue in DCA. But what a great way to incorporate these ideas into one place and actually let guests wander around Monstropolis!

Finding Nemo: With the large, and hugely popular The Living Seas with Nemo & Friends in Epcot, I just can't see the need for anything else in WDW related to Finding Nemo.

The Incredibles: What a wonderful untapped resource! A chance to be unique and a decent wealth of options for attractions. Can incorporate things from the island and have an underwater-type attraction or jungle-type attraction, or have a Defeat the Omnidroid attraction.

Cars: It, of course, has been done. But would a clone be acceptable? What could they vary?

Ratatouille: This is being planned (and appropriately so) for the park in Paris, and at least part of it should be opening sometime in 2013 (at the earliest). Curious as to what the attractions might be!

WALL-E: Somehow I'm not seeing this as being super attractive to DHS. Both the Earth landscape and the futuristic space "paradise" featuring large, lazy humans seems a bit out of touch for the Studios.

Up: Balloon ride, anyone? Definitely some potential there.

Brave: A Medieval themed area in DHS could actually be kinda fun! Thoughts on attractions?

Apologies for the double post! I learned that if you accidently hit Enter while creating a poll, it posts the thread. DOH!

The Incredibles is a forgotten film. The attraction potential to me is ripe for exploitation considering the popularity of super hero movies globally.

Even though I haven't seen Brave yet, I love the Medieval look and it lends itself to an overall tone of adventure.

Overall though, I tend to think of Pixar as small scale attraction fodder and some of Disney's older properties more deserving of a "land". Just MO.

I couldn't agree more! Regarding The Incredibles, it's one movie that I actually anticipate and look forward to a sequel. Such a great story and so much room to expand on!

Wall-E would be a perfect -- and certainly uncontroversial -- new theme for the Habit Heroes exhibit at Innoventions.

No mini lands? Are we talking full-blown lands?

This is my order.
1. Wall*E: Two completely different sections.
  • BnL Earth: Themed to conservation of our Planet.
  • Space Cruise-liner: Themed to "unplugging and appreciating our world around it"
2. Cars: I think DLR nailed it but I would like to see different attractions than the Mater and Luigi ones.

3. Up: Beautiful vistas and landscapes and you could have a "dog-fight" attraction.

4. Toy Story/Bug's Life with two completely different sections.
  • You are shrunk down to the size of a bug with different attractions based on A Bug's Life
  • Continuing with the "shrunk down" feel, you enter the land Toy Story with RSR-style ride on RC.
5. Brave: Just due to the shear epic-ness of the environment. (Plus it would appeal to boys and girls as she was a warrior)

6. Monsters, Inc.: Only because of the corny "monster" jokes that could be all over the place. In general, the "world" bores me though. (Plus, we'd definitely get our Door coaster)

7. The Incredibles: Could definitely have a great E-ticket attraction.

8. Finding Nemo: Eh, I'm done with the "under the sea" stuff but I'd love to ride the EAC.

9. Ratatouille: Really, aside from a restaurant and maybe a Spider-Man-style attraction or coaster themed to being in an enlarged kitchen trying to avoid the dangers, I don't see it working as an entire land.

I'd love to see Monsters Inc instead of cars. There's just as much potential for an immersive world and even more ride options. Not to mention it would be easy to incorporate the streets of america into it. Incredibles would be good too.

I would like Wall-E....but not the trashed world...what the world would be like after they restored it. Maybe something inspired from the scenes/animations that were shown during the credits?

I agree with the monstroplis concept but I'm more for a Pixar place where we have attractions from the different movies. They already have TSMM there so have different areas for Everuthing but NEMO.

I think if there was a cars land it should be cars land 2. Make it more about the grand prix. An adventure type area.

Love an UP ride like Soarin.

Incredible Island would be awesome.

There is room to capture the different markets and movies they should not limit it to one.

Didn't Pixar start off doing Listerine commercials? I vote for Listerine Land! Think Body Wars, but through the human mouth where you battle gum disease and gingavitus. A 3-D show about proper brushing and rinsing. And it wouldn't be complete without a meet n greet with the Listerine Bottle.

With all the attention Pixar has gotten, will get, I hope that the other types (traditional animation, action, noir, etc.) doesn't get overlooked. I know it's Disney, but I'd hate to see DHS become too saturated with Pixar. It's not the only thing Disney has, nor is it the only type of film. Much of it has to do with my age, but I prefer to see more classic animation and traditional films.

I would like to see a Toy Story Playland but kind of re-imagined. The theme would be "Andy's family is away, and the toys shrink you to come out and play":

1. RC Racer: RSR-like ride with RC racer. You go inside Andy's room and meet the toys (like Carsland inside the town) and you also go around Andy's huge backyard. (e-ticket)
2. Toy Story Midway Mania
3. Slinky Dog ZigZag Spin: (TDL already has it)
A. Pizza Planet: Restaurant
B. Al's Toy Barn: Store

Sure it isn't a PIXAR land, but it CAN make A LOT more $$ than Carsland because Toy Story is better selling, and has better reviews/more loved.

Cars! Just because of everything I've seen & heard about the amazing new addition to DCA. It looks incredible, to say the least, and would be a much needed boost to DHS.

My picks in order:
1) Monstropolis!!!!! (I have wanted this for a LONG time) with our door coaster, reimagined laugh floor and basically an immersive area.

2) Toy Story- though it is used tremendously in the parks it's still one of my fav's. Even RC Racer would be enough for me!

3) Brave- theming would be amazing! A darkride would be just fine.

4) Cars- I am not a fan of a clone from DCA, but it does look amazing :)

5) INCREDIBLES Island with a thrilling coaster

6) UP- I would prefer this in AK.

7) Ratatouille

8) Wall-E
