Which movie truly "saved" the Disney company?

By the time Mary Poppins was released, the company was well established and at the peak of its success during Walt's life. Mary was confirmation of that (in a big way), but Disney had plenty of other hits during that era like Swiss Family Robinson and The Parent Trap. I don't think "saving the company" is the right term for it.

Walt Disney used the profits from Mary Poppins to start a special division of Imagineering called "MAPO". Expanding the technology that Imagineering used to create the audio-animatronic bird in Mary Poppins, the division created other audio-animatronic figures that we know today - Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
