From what I recall when my Nan used to make it - it sort of tastes like a wetter fruit cake. So ... no, I think no one here likes plum pudding.

It is true that sometimes they can be a bit strong. I might as well be drinking straight liquor and chase it with Hershey's chocolate syrup.

The first time I had that it was shortly after I got married. My first reaction was "what the hell, don't these fools even know what pudding is supposed to be like"? This is a damn cake! Second reaction was... it wasn't all bad, but, I was sure I would never have a craving for it again. And I didn't!

Just so you know just how cultured I am, not once did I stick in my thumb to pull out a plum. I has got lots of cultural upbringing, don't ya know!
