I had a crush on Lisa Whelchel as a kid. She's a beautiful lady.
The Facts of Life was a great show. Well, until Over Our Heads.
She's a lovely person inside too.
Oh! Lisa! She was on Survivor!
She was. And then she went on to co-host with Probst for a brief stint on his brief talk show.
She won the fan favorite in the Philippines. She tried to give Penner a shot, but he took that shot and aimed it right at his foot. If someone like Lisa offers you a final 3 deal, you take it! Not only is she not going to break the deal, but he would have won over her and Skupin!
Sorry. That's one of the more frustrating Survivor moments for me.

Oh my goodness! That good especially the bangers look so good. Hubs has been out of town this week, so I haven't really been cooking so I'm due for a good meal. Also great pictures of the Falls, someday I'll go. @Nemo14 I enjoyed your bear and wildlife pictures as well!

A certain superhero told me I should post a few more pictures from our adventures in Shenandoah National Park, so here's a few more in no particular order.
Those of you who followed my bald eagle obsession in Florida will understand these next 2...
It was awsome to just watch them soar with the thermals. One juvenile flew side by side with us as we drove on the road. I didn't get a picture of that because I was too busy squealing...
We saw deer everywhere...
and lots of wildflowers...

So beautiful and peaceful.The sweeping vistas throughout the park really take your breath away. It reminded us very much of the Smoky Mountains.

Peaceful was exactly what we needed after these past few weeks. We had no intention of going there when we headed out from NY Sunday night, but I'm convinced that a little Divine intervention was involved there. God is good.

Thanks but you must have left something out. There's a lot of nice pictures, but, I see nothing that I miss at all. Maybe the cake, but, I guess I could have that here as well and I wouldn't be accidentally getting the sleeve of my parka into the frosting.
