What Color is the Dress?

On my iPhone it looks white/gold. On my android tablet it looks obviously blue/black.

I have seen photos of it where it looks gold and white, then I have seen photos of it where it looks black and blue. It think it's ugly, regardless of its colors.

Ok, the problem with the photo is pretty obvious to any news photographer. The daylight is blue (5600 degrees Kelvin). The dress is blue. The camera was white balanced on the blue fabric. In essence telling the camera the dress is white. Since the camera was white balanced incorrectly, the color tone is off. Your eyes/brain try to correct for the error.
