We went off to ride Star Tours hoping that the galaxy would be expanding soon!

I wasn’t sure if One Man’s Dream would be gone soon, so we made sure to take our time to go through it and really take it all in.

So... I actually had one of these Mickey rockers. I bought it at a flea market for $5.00. I gave it away a while ago - now I wish I kept it!

We all met up to see Frozen. We all still love this show!

Ross and Julia wanted to ride TOT one last time, so Hope and I made our way to the front of the park and went through some shops. Hope still doesn’t ask for a lot, but she wanted Ariel ears - so we picked up a pair.

(Pay close attention to Hope - can anyone spot what’s missing?)

Then it was time to leave. We knew the next time we visited The Studios, there would be a vast amount of changes, so as a family who dislikes change, we left a little sad.

Yes - as joshsprincess921 pointed out, Ross was wearing Hope’s Magic Band. Why? Well it made it faster to scan our fast passes. In addition, when you use the disability return time, the person who has the disability, in our case, Hope, needs to scan her Magic Band 1st at the first touch point when returning to enter. But Hope can be slow in doing this - especially when she is in her stroller which has her lower that the touch points. So in the name of keeping the line moving, I started wearing her Magic Band from last year on my lanyard and scanning it for her. (She wanted to bring both her bands with her.) Ross picked up on the idea and took her Magic Band off and wore it so he could scan for her - but in this case he forgot to put it back on her wrist.

It would have been no big deal… except…

We left the Studios and made our way to MK. We were starving by the time we got there and wanted to eat at Pinocchio’s. When we arrived, Ross suggested that he take the stroller and all the bags and go through the bag check while Julia, Hope and I go through the “guests without bags” line and head right to eat. It sounded good, so I took off my little ID holder bag around my neck which had Hope’s MB on it. I didn’t realize that Ross had taken hers off.

As we approached the Touch Point, i told her to scan her Magic Band and that’s when I realized her Magic Band was gone. I called Ross - but he didn’t pick up - so I texted him. I thought that he would realize right away, but I was wrong. It would have been no big deal - except when we had to start walking away from the entrance. Hope thought we were NOT going in to MK. She started to melt down. It was more of a “sad” meltdown - not a “frantic” one, if that makes sense. However, it was still intense. I explained our situation to the CM. I was hoping they would let us in and I could just come back for them to tap her MB. But the answer was an absolutely no. They said I could send Julia in to find Ross or I could go, but I didn’t feel comfortable either sending Julia alone or leaving her with Hope in the process of a meltdown. Then they said we could get a card from guest services. So we headed over to see a line that was enormous! We were just about to get on line when finally Ross called me.

He was already in Fantasyland looking for us. He made his way back and believe me, it felt like forever.

Hope was so upset - I think she really thought we weren’t going in to MK. I tried to calm her as best I could. Of course what a sight we must have been!

Finally Ross found us and returned Hope’s MB and then we entered MK and headed to Fantasyland to have some dinner.

By the time our food arrived, Hope was fine. Dinner was good and then we did PP, Small World & Philharmagic.

After that, Julia & I went to see Monster’s Laugh Floor and then ride Space Mountain while Ross & Hope stayed in Fantasyland.

The park was closing when Julia decided she wanted some ice cream. Since we were in Tomorrowland, we stopped in Auntie Gravity’s ( I think that’s the name.) The CM must have been new because he was having a bit of trouble with the ice cream and handed her this!

Ross & Hope met us after they rode Buzz.

We headed home - we were all so tired. Tomorrow would be our last full day.

Great report, your girls look lovely.

I have to ask you a question. It would be a huge coincidence, but you never know! In October 2006, we took our daughters to meet the princesses at breakfast at Akershus. On the table next to us, was a mum and daughter. They were from New York, the little girl was called Julia, and she was not at all interested in the princesses. The mum was trying to get her to look at the princesses and have her photo taken , but all she wanted to do was eat her breakfast! It stuck in my mind, and reading your thread, it reminded me of this meal. Was it you and your daughter?

It sounds like it could be us - it does sound like my Julia - but alas it is not. Our first trip was in February 2008 and since then, we only have gone in September.

Friday September 20th - Day 10

Oh the sadness of retrieving our morning mail…

We always spend our last full day in EPCOT and this year was no different.

It was a beautiful morning - but what morning isn’t beautiful in Disney?

As we were on our way to EPCOT, I realized the MDE app wasn’t working and my fast passes were not showing up. I figured it didn’t matter - they would still be on my MB - but the only problem was I forgot the times! When we got to the park, I went to Guest Services to see what was up. The CM had no idea what to tell me. It was as though my fast passes had disappeared. I asked if she could tell me what time my FP were for but she said the whole system was down and she was not able to bring up any of my plans. I got scared we would miss all of our FP, but the CM printed my out 3 paper FP to use any time! WOW - I didn’t expect that!

We didn’t waste time with our last precious hours!

It was a hot morning so we stopped in for a quick refresh at Club Cool.

When we left, a Photopass Photographer was out side and ask if we wanted a few shots. He was so awesome - he had us stand in 3 different places.

Off we go. We rode Mission Space first - well Ross and Julia rode while Hope and I “played” in the little playground at the end. I rode MS a couple of times this trip, but after getting sick on it 2 years ago, it lost its appeal. (Well, except for Gary at the beginning. lol)

Julia wanted to ride one of her favorites - Ellen’s Energy Adventure!

Ross decided he could use a nap, so he went with her while Hope & I went to visit Figment.

Julia wants more than anything to get inside the Wonders Of Life Building - almost as much as she wants to see the upstairs of Imagination. She just LOVES her abandoned Disney!

Hope was not in the mood for a picture!

We met up and headed into World Showcase for our ADR at Germany. I’ll be honest it’s not my favorite - but it is always on the top of Julia’s list.

It was fun and the food was good - it’s just not my favorite.

After lunch, Julia and Hope both wanted to meet Jasmine who eluded us the other day so we set off for Morocco.

We were early to get on her line and it was a good thing because not soon after we got on line, a CM came out and cut it off! I guess Jasmine is really popular!

FYI for your next trip ~ The Wonders of Life pavilion is open Fridays through Sundays during the Food & Wine Festival. (It is also open those same days during Flower & Garden Festival.)

We stopped in Mexico to ride Donald’s boat one more time and then we said goodbye to WS. We hoped Frozen would be open on our next trip.

We made a quick stop in Club Cool and then rode Spaceship Earth before heading over to Nemo. Hope really likes this one. After we walked around while we waited to see Turtle Talk With Crush.

Then we wanted to ride Ling With The Land again. However, this time we all used the bathroom before we boarded!

Of course, who can leave The Land with a ride on Soarin? Not us

Then we made our way to see Figment.

I was surprised to see they had Dimensions Hall open! This was a room that a CM actually took Julia to a few years ago - but she said it was usually locked and not something that was used often.
