Weather Effecting Our Trip Planning for Shanghai Disneyland

They keep saying that Shanghai Disneyland will open in "late 2015". Because all we know about the opening date is this, we where looking to start planing a trip to Shanghai Disneyland in December 2015. We looked up the weather and here is the average temperatures for Shanghai:

Data of Shanghai Weather in December:
Average Temperature: 8°C / 46°F
Average High Temperature: 11°C / 52°F
Average Low Temperature: 2°C / 36°F

As shown below January is even colder:

Average High Temperature: 8C / 46F
Average Low Temperature: 1C / 34F

After seeing this we have decided to not go until May 2016 so that the weather will be better in the parks as well as at other places we want to visit in China.

I would think that the cold winter weather in Shanghai will effect attendence at this park.

I'm looking into this very subject right now. I want to return to Hong Kong Disneyland and visit Shanghai Disneyland on the same trip, but I want to experience HKDL during christmas. So we may have to brave the cold temps.

It was around those temps on my first trip to Tokyo Disney and colder on one of my trips to Disneyland Paris (again, I wanted to see christmas time) It's doable for me, but definitely not ideal.
