I don't like when people compare the two..I don't even like when people compare Universal to WDW.. BUT, I'm going to compare. 
and no, they aren't apples to apples, I just found this interesting.
Easter weekend I went to a Cedar Fair park and Great Wolf Lodge. Ridiculous lines, ridiculous hotel price...but we did have a wonderful time.
So now today- I'm looking at another 3 nights at a different Cedar Fair park, Cedar Point.
Here's the Room Only price for a standard hotel room, 3 nights- $1102.23 (including tax)
I must have a Fast Lane Pass for one of the days, Price- $115.56 per person.
We do have Platinum passes so our admission is covered. I also have a WDW Platinum pass... Cedar Fair is a 6 hour drive, WDW is a 2 hour flight.
I haven't booked yet, mainly because I'm in a bit of sticker shock. This is a normal hotel, not a Great Wolf Lodge.
I just thought it was interesting to share..
once again I'm reminded that WDW actually isn't a horrible value comparatively. In fact, it's actually a good value comparatively.
